COVID-19 has changed the way many businesses will allow employees to work. Working from home has become more prevalent than ever.  Businesses now recognize the many benefits of having their employees work from home. Working from home has advantages for both the employer and employee.

Letting an employee work from home provides them with the benefit of not having to commute. Employers don't need as much building space since employees aren't there daily. Working from home can be terrific if you have the right space.

The main challenge of working from home is separating your work life and your personal life. Working where you live can blend your two lives together, making both of them unpleasant. Factors such as pets, spouses, and/or kids that are also at home during the pandemic can make working from home a real challenge.

Luckily, there is a solution. Welcome to the backyard office! A backyard office is a stand-alone building separate from your existing house, much like a shed, that allows you to work from home, but not in your house.

On the face of it, you may be asking, "Do I really want to work in a grubby, cluttered backyard office shed?". A backyard office is much more than your typical shed. Imagine your perfect office space: peaceful, beautiful, and most paramount, private.

Our backyard offices range from a small, cozy space to a large space with a complete bar and loft. Styles range anywhere from traditional, modern farmhouse, modern, and beach styles.

For instance, take our Meredith plan. It is a simple 12' x 16' office that features a cathedral ceiling, which makes the space feel larger. This plan would make a wonderful addition to any backyard and is easy on the budget.

If you are looking for much more than a place to work, the Bellini plan has everything you need. A modern masterpiece that features a snack bar, a wet bar, a bathroom, and of course an office. This plan will cost you more to build, but will also add a ton of value to your home.

The Petunia plan is a perfect multi-use backyard office. The home office can double as a kid's playhouse. The office elevates off the ground to provide a covered area to swing or a sandbox to play in. The deck on the rear of the plan has a slide that takes you back to the ground level.

Backyard offices can be much more, such as an art studio, a man cave, she shed, or a private place to get away. No matter the purpose, there is a perfect backyard office for you. Browse our collection of remarkable backyard offices here. Don't’ see what you like? Contact us today!
